A scene from local filmmaker Joanna Kohler's upcoming documentary BOXERS.

BOXERS is the story of seven women claiming their own story about the love of boxing.
A female-owned boxing gym with an all-female amateur boxing team are putting in their mouth guards and changing the face of boxing as they are training to compete in an international competition. Friendship, violence and fear erupt on this historic journey. In a time when women are told not to fight, these women step into the ring ready to face more than one fight here in front of their gloves.
